Journal of Media Education accepting creative submissions

Journal of Media Education accepting creative submissions

Broadcast Education Association's Journal of Media Education (JoME) is
accepting submissions of creative work as part of an on-going mission to
expand publication opportunities for those involved in all areas of
media production.

If you have a recent audio/video/animation/script that you would like to
have considered in the October 2016 issue of JoME, please send an email
inquiry to DByland@beajome.org no later than July 1, 2016. Summarize the
project content, and include the project length and your involvement. Do
not send the project via email. If your project is accepted for
consideration you will be contacted with instructions regarding how to
submit it.

All submissions must be primarily the work of the person submitting
(student/volunteer participation is acceptable but must not be primary).
Work done for organizations (national or local) is acceptable as long as
it was done as a part of your faculty growth/development (work done as a
part of your private production company, for example, would not be
acceptable). All projects accepted will be expected to have a 1500-3000
word article describing the pedagogical applications, purpose and nature
of the project, a narrative of the process, discussion of your role and
the roles of other participants, and a summary of the outcome, i.e., did
it meet the goals established, what are the considerations for the
future, etc.

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to have your creative work
published in BEA's pedagogical journal. Contact Dr. David Byland at
DByland@beajome.org for more information.
