Form: Submissions can take several forms including case studies, thinkpieces, and short form essays (1,500-3,000 words); and longer form essays (4-6,000 words). We also welcome creative material, visual and graphic material, and work that takes advantage of multi-media platforms.
Style: Submissions should be written in conversational yet scholarly prose that wisely and thoughtfully integrates Christian thought with disciplinary theory and pedagogical tactics. Each submission should feature both the contextual content as well as the teaching practice that facilitates student learning. Article format should adhere closely to the most current edition of the Chicago style guide.
Peer Review: All submissions are peer-reviewed by the editorial board of the Christianity and Communication Studies Network (http://www.theccsn.com/about/
Additional Submission Details: Articles should be submitted in two documents. (1) One document should include all author contact information including the title of the work submitted and an abstract. (2) A second document should include the complete work with names removed for blind review. Submissions to Journal of Christian Teaching Practice should not be under review by another journal. Documents should be submitted in Word (.doc or .docx) format.
