Call for Book Reviewers
The Popular Culture Studies Journal is seeking authors to review over 30 books on various aspects of U.S. or international popular culture. We currently have books covering a wide range of areas including popular television series, pop culture issues (such as cyber bullying), comic books, and much more. These books have been published in the last two years or older seminal works that have deserved a second look.
Reviews are roughly 800-1,000 words and should be typed, double-spaced with 12 pt. Times New Roman font. Reviews should also adhere to the ethos of The Popular Culture Studies Journal and be largely positive with any criticism of the book or author being constructive in nature. If you are interested in being a reviewer please send in a copy of your CV and three possible topic areas you would be interested in to johnsoma@mountunion.edu with the subject line PCSJ Book Review. Upon receipt the reviews editor will contact you about possible titles and provide additional information.
