American Studies Division Submission
The American Studies Division of the National Communication Association is pleased to solicit nominations for two division awards. Nominations for the best book and best article/monograph that advance the study of communication and American cultures should be emailed to Division Chairperson, Dr. Meryl Irwin, at profirwin@outlook.com. Please make sure to put “ASD: Awards Nomination” in the subject line.
The basic purpose of the American Studies Division is to promote interdisciplinary research and teaching that focuses on the connections between communication texts and practices and American cultures. Inherently interdisciplinary, the Division embraces diverse theoretical and methodological approaches to research and theory-building relevant to Studies in South, Central and North America.
